There are still, dark waters and crystal blue skies, I can't tell you where, lest you should come. The tide is low. Two shore birds sit. The bay wraps into the ocean towards the south, hugging "Old Barney", beacon tall and true. Stilliness and solitude are overwhelming. WHERE are you? You should be here. You would envy me, if only you knew. It could be the 4th of July and I could still hide here. I can't tell you where, lest you should come. The bay could freeze over and be covered with snow. I can walk and be free as the fox I see roam. You could find this place too, it's easy and free. But, you are lost in the rat race. Not me. [Ms. Sebastian is a freelance writer]
