Recycle Caps Program Open Again!

ALO can now accept plastic caps again for recycling. The cap box is located outside the ALO office at 1101 Central Ave., Ship Bottom. You can also drop caps off at the chamber of commerce and at participating local schools.

Thanks to the Long Beach Island Garden Club who allowed us to start the program again by funding a portion of the shipping costs. Since starting the program, we have recycled 100s of thousands of caps!

Click here to learn more about the program and what type of caps are acceptable. By recycling caps you have prevented them from entering the waterways and harming marine life!

We can keep the program active only as long as shipping costs are funded. Anyone, interested in supporting all or a portion of our caps program, please contact us. Your contribution is tax deductible, but more importantly, you are helping the environment. Thanks again to the Long Beach Island Garden Club!
