ALO’s environmentalist in residence will guide a leisurely, one-hour paddle on the bay for all ages and skill levels, and talk to participants about some of the important ecological issues affecting Barnegat Bay.

ALO LONGBOARD CLASSIC

Join ALO for our 5th Annual LBI Longboard Classic surf contest. Featuring numerous categories including a skim contest, this fun-filled day is supplemented by an environmental fair on the beach.

SEINING at SEA CRITTER ROUNDUP

Join ALO volunteers and naturalist as we seine the bay and learn about the interesting creatures we discover.

The whole family will enjoy this hands on event! (All critters are returned unharmed to the sea.)

PUPPET THEATER

Join us for an interactive seashore themed puppet show designed for ages 6 and younger but fun for the whole family. The fun continues after the show with shell painting and a scavenger hunt presented by the NJ Maritime Museum
