Inlet Lore is the Alliance for a Living Ocean's newest summer program held at the Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, Fridays from 11:00am - Noon. The program is an educational presentation about the dynamics of an inlet. Lore means a body of facts and traditions. Inlet Lore presents the facts about Barnegat Inlet and the traditions of Long Beach Island. The program includes:

• an outdoor presentation
• a beach walk
• a tour around the base of Barnegat Light
• a demonstration of the Barnegat Baywatch Water Monitoring Program
• a question & answer period where participants decide the topic.
