ALO, begun in 1987, is committed to the goal that no one should ever again decide against the New Jersey Shore as a destination because of unhealthy waters or dirty beaches. Over the past 20 years, ALO has awakened sensitivity to the problems of our coastal area.

We need your support of time, money or expertise donated to an ideal goal, "an ocean teeming with life", now, and for those generations who follow. We need your personal involvement. Everyone is part of the problem....we must all become part of the solution.
